It has been a great pleasure to have seen many a student pass through these meagre
efforts of mine. Students have achieved great heights in their professional careers.
Surely, their upbringing, dedication and hard work contributed to their success.
But one cannot deny the fact the school had a role to play in each of their lives.
One realizes this only afterwards... life is about good experiences and if you live
a full life to the best you can, then the other will follow. Now that so many batches
have passed through our gates I am pleased to let you know that the going is getting
stronger.
It has been my experience, that not everyone is out there to help you then there
are those who just say no when you really need their help and then finally a few
who are there to help you through your most trying times. For me, those were my
teachers.
I had grown up under the watchful eyes of Monfort Brothers where we were groomed
to the tune of real gentlemen. As the years go by, I recognize the immense good
they have instilled in me. A true salute to those who have imbibed the culture and
my thoughts that I am fortunate to convey to as many students as I could. A word
with any of our ex-students thus implies that in some way I have touched that family
for the betterment. It is a tremendous feeling to meet ex-students and see how they
have progressed in their lives.
For the ones new to the School, I am sure you will find your experience at J.J.A
a very different one. Students have a longing to come back to School even long after
passing out, they have got a sense of belonging. It's needless to say that the past
batches have accomplished many milestones making them famous the world over. We
expect that from each batch and also all the new ones.
It is immensely necessary to work hard at whatever you strive for and you will succeed
without a doubt. I am sure Ms. Vitaline Lara Viegas with her team has quite a bit
planned out for this year. We as in the words of Panditji, are to be steadfast in
our resolve to build up a prosperous, democratic and progressive nation, and to
create social, economic and political institutions which will ensure justice and
fullness of life to very man and woman. We have hard work ahead. There is no resting
for any one of us till we redeem our pledge in full, till we make all the people
of India what destiny intended them to be. We are citizens of a great country on
the verge of bold advance, and we have to live up to that high standard. All of
us, to whatever religion we belong, are equally the children of India with equal
rights, privileges and obligations.
God Bless!!!
